Veloo

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. The service

Veloo is a technology platform that connects riders requesting transportation with independent drivers offering it. Veloo does not itself provide transport services and is not a transport carrier; drivers are independent contractors responsible for their vehicles, licensing, and conduct.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • Accounts are personal and non-transferable; keep your credentials and verification codes confidential.
  • Drivers must hold a valid license, insurance, and any documents required by Tunisian law, and keep them current in the app.
  • We may suspend or refuse accounts that provide false information, abuse the service, or endanger other users.

3. Riders

  • Fares are shown upfront before you confirm; the confirmed fare may change if you alter the destination or make unplanned stops.
  • Cancel before a driver arrives within the free window shown in the app; repeated late cancellations may be restricted.
  • You are responsible for your conduct during a trip — no illegal activity, damage, or harassment.

4. Drivers

  • Drivers are independent contractors — nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, or partnership.
  • Offers show pickup, destination, and earnings before acceptance; accepted offers are expected to be completed professionally.
  • Earnings are credited per the payment schedule shown in the driver app; platform commission is deducted as disclosed at onboarding.
  • Document verification (KYC) may be repeated at intervals; expired documents suspend driving until renewed.

5. Payments

Trip prices include applicable taxes where required. Payments are processed as shown in the app; promotional credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may carry expiry dates.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the platform: no fraudulent bookings, fake accounts, GPS spoofing, scraping, reverse engineering, or interference with the service. Violations may result in suspension and, where unlawful, referral to authorities.

7. Liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Tunisian law, Veloo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for the conduct of riders or drivers, or for service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim related to a trip is limited to the fare paid for that trip.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Tunisia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tunis, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.
